Rue
Neuve consists of two third floor apartments which have been renovated
to a high standard. They incorporate all the charm and atmosphere of
the old building with oak beams and shuttered light from the windows
overlooking Rue Neuve.
Rue Neuve is a typical Nicois street which runs directly into the beautiful
Place Garibaldi with its covered market stalls. It is also a stone's
throw from the Gare Routiere from where you can catch a bus to anywhere
along the coast as well as into the hinterland. The restaurants, bars,
shops and markets are all within walking distance of the apartments
but the road itself is quiet and peaceful.
The
modern amenities include a fully fitted galley kitchen in the first
studio apartment with washing machine, fridge, electric hob and small
grill/oven. The shower room has an enclosed full sized shower cubicle
and is fully tiled. The main living/sleeping area looks out onto a very
sunny Nicois street and gets the sun from first thing in the morning
until late afternoon. The full sized classic Nicois windows are double
glazed and the newly painted walls house a collection of our own paintings
and pictures. There is a full sized double bed plus a new sofa bed for
additional sleeping, if required. There is also a large dining table
and four chairs for eating.
If you do not want to cook, there are plenty of Pizzeria Restaurants
who do 'take-away'. Just at the bottom of Rue Neuve is the famous
Cafe de Turin and Brasserie Garibaldi. A Monoprix supermarket is on
the opposite side of Boulevard Jean Jaures which caters for all needs.
Finally there is a TV and DVD player plus a Radio/CD player for your
relaxation. Also there is a phone which can be used for incoming
calls and outgoing calls with a phone card.

As
the studio and the 1 bedroom apartment are next door to one another,
these would suit two families or one large family wanting to holiday
together.
