This first floor spacious two bedroom apartment is situated at
the top of Rue Guigonis where it joins Rue Jouan Nicola and just down
from the archway. The location is ideal as it is on the very edge of
Vieux Nice but near enough to it to enjoy the bustling market on the
Cours Saleya and Place Garibaldi. The tempting food shops, colourful
restaurants and bars of the Old Town are just minutes away but far enough
for the flat to be a quiet and peaceful haven. The beaches, museums,
art galleries and theatres are also close at hand.

The apartment is light and airy with tiled floors throughout.
The spacious lounge/dining room has a large window overlooking Rue Ste.
Clair which catches the south/westerly sun. For entertainment, there
is an LCD TV which gets terrestrial channels as well as a DVD and stereo/CD
player. There are two good sized bedrooms, both with a double bed, cupboards,
bedside tables and lamps. The newly equipped and fitted kitchen also
has a small breakfast bar for snack meals, a full sized fridge/freezer
(so important in the hot summer months) an integrated oven and a hob
and hood. The bathroom has a large corner bath with shower, generous
sized washhand basin, toilet and a washer/drier with shelving above.
The apartment has been recently upgraded to a very high standard and
the colours and furnishings reflect the ambiance of Provence and the
South.

Vieux Nice is also famous for its fine baroque churches and the
Cathedral in Place Rossetti. The Palais Lascaris in rue Droite is an
old Italian Nobleman’s Palace and is an Historic Monument. But
if it is just a lazy holiday you want, you can stroll down to the beach
within 5-10 minutes (depending on how fast you stroll) and come back
to the apartment to enjoy a glass of rose cool from the fridge.
